Select a design that exactly or closely resembles what you would like for your own design. Keep in mind that we are willing and able to change all aspects of a design; from the colors, to the wording, the photo style, and the fonts at no additional charge. Once we have received your order, and your photos in their highest resolution, you will receive an online proof for viewing within 48-72 hrs. We will complete one design for viewing, if you wish to view additional designs, you will be charged $10 for each additional design requested.

From here we can work together to perfect all aspects of your design. We are happy to make any adjustments needed to give you a beautiful and unique card, that you can be proud of!

What kind of paper do you use?

Our cards are printed on professional quality Kodak Endura photo paper or high quality cardstock.

Photo Paper: Our photo paper is professional quality Kodak Endura paper. It is archival quality, thus retaining it's colour and shine for many years to come.
~Photo Paper Matte: Our matte finish paper is a professional quality photo paper that offers accurate color, realistic saturation and brighter colors!
~Photo Paper Metallic: The unique paper offers a glossy metallic, or pearlescent, finish that will make your images pop! Flesh tones look natural, details are crisp and colors are beautifully saturated! We recommend this paper for designs with black & white photos and also those with bold or vibrant colors.

Cardstock: Our cardstock papers are a beautiful upgrade from photo paper. We offer this paper in three different finishes. With this paper, you have the option to include a custom matching design on the back at no exta, here you will also find our logo.
~Matte Cardstock - This is a flat finish, comparable to a matte finish on photo paper
~Glossy Cardstock - This is a high gloss finish, very shiny!
~Pearl Cardstock - This is a "glittery" finish, very nice for birthday invitations, or bright coloured designs.

What size should my picture be?

We recommend that all photos be at least 1800x1200 pixels. We ask that all scanned photos be a minimum of 300 dpi (dots per inch) or preferably 600 dpi. We ask this to ensure the best quality design for you! If you are unsure of how to find or adjust these specifics on your photos, please contact us and we will help you in any way that we can. We will also evaluate any photo free of charge before using it in your design. Photos saved from camera phones are not suitable for printing.


Can we use professionally prepared photographs?

Yes, with written consent from the photographer. We will not use professional photographer's photographs without a release form. If you are interested in a professional photographer, and don't know where to look, we have a list of affiliated photographers. Click here to find out more!
 

How long until I receive my proof?

Once your payment has gone through, you will be directed to a page to upload your photos. If you choose not to use this, you must email us your high resolution photos to photos@sweetbabydesigns.com. We cannot start your proof without your photos!

Once you have emailed your photos, you can check your account settings, to see if they have been received by us, and you will also receive an autoreply email letting you know. If your status has not changed within 1 business day, please email us to ensure we received your photos.

Once received, it typically takes 48-72 hours for an online proof to view. At that time, you can either approve the proof, and send it to print, or, if you need changes to your proof, let us know. We have unlimited revisions and will work with you to ensure your proof is just the way you like!

Should I edit my photos before sending them?

No, we have all the capabilites to edit the photos in any way that you would like. We are able to crop, sharpen, reduce red-eye, and make color photos black & white. If there is anything specific that you would like done to a photo before it is used, such as having a specific part cropped out or fixing a blemish, please just note that in the email with your photos. You may also attach your cropped photos, as well as the originals, so we can see how you would like them cropped, please do send the originals for us to work with though.
 
Is there an extra charge to change a design?

No. All our announcements can be altered in any way to suit your needs and style. We are able to change the colors, the fonts, and the wording. If you wish to see a different design entirely, your credit card will be charged a $10 fee.
 
How long will it take to receive my order?

After we have received your final approval on the design, please allow 7-10 business days to receive your order via UPS Ground, in the USA. If you have chosen UPS 2nd day or Next Day Air, you will receive it in 4-6 business days in the USA. Typically photo paper orders will ship within 2-3 business days of proof approval and cardstock with ship within 3-4 business days. Keep in mind we only ship Monday through Friday, not on weekends. If you are in Canada, the turn around time is approximately 10-14 business days, however, there may be delays at customs, so if you are ordering invitations, please order them well in advance.
 
Is there a minimum order?

We require a minimum order of 25 cards. Cardstock is only available in packs of 25, so they must be ordered in increments of 25 (ie 50, 75, 100, etc).
 
Are envelopes included?

Yes, we include the envelopes at no charge to you.
 
Can I pre-order my envelopes?

Yes. If you would like your envelopes to be sent early, you may order them for an additional $10, which is to cover the cost of the extra shipping. If you wish to have your envelopes preprinted with your return address, we can do that also! You may pre-order these as early as you like; days, weeks, or months in advance.
